Production Planner / CAD Technician
The main responsibility of this role is to support our factory team to ensure that accurate manufacturing paperwork is supplied on a timely basis to meet production deadlines. You will also be preparing CAD drawings and tenders for submission to clients for future projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Obtain approvals from our clients and liaise with them regarding delivery dates
- Check furniture schedules with CAD drawings before manufacture.
- Scheduling orders for manufacture.
- Submitting material orders.
- Regular liaison with sites, suppliers, fitters etc ensuring smooth running of projects and deliveries.
- CAD design and drawings using 2020 Fusion software. Working from hand drawings and architects drawings.
- Scheduling quotations and preparation of tenders.
Requirements:
- Computer Literate with Microsoft Office and furniture CAD software (ideally 2020 Fusion)
- Self-motivated and a willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Technically minded with experience in kitchen / building industry
This is a full time, permanent position.
Experience:
- Production Planning: 2 years (preferred)
- Kitchen CAD: 2 years (preferred)

Kitchen Surveyor / Designer
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced kitchen surveyor/designer to join our small and friendly team.
Working from our showroom & factory in Croydon, you will be dealing with both retail & contract clients, designing with 2020 Fusion software & scheduling quotations for submission using EQ software.
This fast-paced role involves collaborating with the Surveying and Manufacturing team to ensure our customers receive excellent end to end service from the point they make an enquiry, through to post installation.
You will be confident and experienced in communicating with people at all levels and can quickly build trust and rapport both internally and externally.
This full time, permanent position offers a great opportunity for a candidate who is already working as a kitchen designer who is seeking their next challenge!
Main Responsibilities
- Design kitchens / bedrooms for retail & contract clients
- Conduct showroom meetings with clients and noting down their design requirements and material specifications
- Conduct accurate on site surveys
- Prepare and maintain tender submissions on the contract side of the business
- Develop & maintain a healthy relationship with our clients & regular contract customers
- Preparing CAD drawings and scheduling of materials required
- Plan, design present & sell inspirational designs relating to the client’s brief & budget
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Manage your own workload productively & effectively
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years experience working as a kitchen surveyor/designer
- Be able to demonstrate confidence and capability in a fast-paced environment
- Be an effective communicator with excellent people skills
- Attention to detail essential
- I.T literate, including Microsoft Excel and Office
- EQ Easy Quote software experience desirable
- 2020 Fusion or similar kitchen planning software experience desirable
- Have the ability to work on your own initiative and without supervision
- Conscientious and well organised, responding to all client requests, giving the high level of customer service expected.
