DO YOU MANUFACTURE THE KITCHENS?
Yes - we manufacture all the carcases using the latest software systems and precision machinery. We manufacture some doors or source them from a door manufacturer and finally assemble the complete unit. Handles and some internal accessories need to be fitted on site due to the number of options that are available.
ARE THE UNITS INTERCHANGEABLE?
Yes – you can normally have any door on any unit; the only restrictions are door availability. You can have any handle you want. All wall unit sizes are available in all finishes. As we manufacture, if the door is available then we can make non-standard units and sizes to suit specifications.
ARE THE UNITS FLAT-PACKED?
No – all units are factory assembled ready for delivery to your property.
WHAT IS THE CARCASE CONSTRUCTION?
The carcase is made of MFC (melamine-faced-chipboard) conforming to BS5669. You can choose from MFC colour-matched carcase with soft-close drawers and doors. Alternatively we can offer a standard carcase either white or ivory with HDF backs, metal sided drawers with MFC backs and bases.
WHO WILL HELP ME DESIGN THE KITCHEN?
We will discuss your specific requirements, how you use the kitchen and what materials you want to use. We will then supply a CAD design and provide a 3-D photographic impression to help you visualise the finished project.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DESIGN AND DELIVER A KITCHEN?
Each project is different. The selection process can take between a few weeks or a few months. Once you have made a decision our lead in for manufacture and delivery is approximately 8 weeks.
HOW MUCH DOES A KITCHEN COST?
How long is a piece of string! The cost of a new kitchen will vary depending on the size of the room and the type of goods selected.
HOW DO WE GET A QUOTATION?
Call into our showroom to make some general decisions on finishes; you can either bring dimensions in with you using our drawing guide; or we can make an appointment to visit you at home. Once we have sufficient information we will provide a drawing and specification.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TIMBER AND TIMBER EFFECT?
A timber effect door is an engineered finish such as foil or vinyl; this has a man-made core of MDF or chipboard. Available as a component door or onepiece door a timber effect finish will give a uniform finish. |

The one-piece door is generally better than a component door which, due to the nature of its construction can be more vulnerable to water ingress.
Timber doors have a solid frame and drawer front but the centre panel can be either veneered or solid. As a natural product there can be grain variation, knots and the colour may change over time.
DO YOU SUPPLY APPLIANCES?
Most definitely, our core suppliers are Neff, AEG, Zanussi and Electrolux. We buy these direct from the manufacturer and are very competitive.
DO YOU HAVE INTERNAL ACCESSORIES FOR THE UNITS?
A wide range of factory fitted options are available such as pull-out larders, baskets, corner units; we can supply many others which may need to be fitted on site.
DO YOU SUPPLY SPECIALIST WORKTOPS?
Yes, timber, engineered stone, granite and Corian. The timber worktops can either be supplied from measurements or your template depending on the complexity of the project.
The stone and Corian are generally provided on a template, supply and fit basis; there is approximately 7-10 working days between template and fit. All the base units need to be fully fitted with all relevant sink and hob details available for the templating.
EACH FINISH HAS ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES:
• Corian is very hygienic with virtually invisible joints and integrated sinks. It is very flexible and can be used for design features; there is a huge range of colours. It is softer than the stone but can generally be mended if damaged. It doesn’t have the deep shine that stone has.
• Stone has a beautiful shine and depth to the material. It will have joints and size limitations due to the weight and size of material slab. Engineered stone will have a uniform grain; natural granite will not. If stone is damaged it can not always be mended.
• Timber adds real warmth and character to the kitchen. It will need oiling to protect it. If you don’t want timber throughout the kitchen, maybe use it at a separate breakfast bar or dresser area?

Yes – the vast majority of our work is supply only.
DO YOU INSTALL?
Yes – we can arrange it. We use qualified electricians and gas fitters in accordance with Part P and Corgi regulations. Alternatively we can arrange for our fitters to deal with you directly. |
