Greaseproof Paper

Lining baking trays with greaseproof paper is a great way to save on washing up, as you don’t need to butter any trays before baking. Plus greaseproof paper is flexible and can be ripped or squeezed into tins of any size and shape. It also makes your cakes easier to remove from the trays!

Pastry Precision

With baking pastry it is essential to stick to the correct measurements. Too little or too much of an ingredient could leave you with a soggy or hard pastry where a crumbly one is needed. Double check your measurements before you suffer a failed flan!

Chilled Dough

When baking cookies, make sure to chill your dough for around 20 – 25 minutes before you put it into your baking pan, as the ingredients will blend together better when it comes to putting the cookies in the oven.
