When planning on renovating your kitchen, one thing that you may spend hours deciding on (particularly if you have a spouse) is what kitchen colour you want it to be. Although it can be tempting to go with a simple yet effective cream coloured cabinet with the worktop, you might be feeling a little more adventurous, or you simply want a change of scenery. Whatever your needs, Price Kitchens will be here to help.
Be Bright! Be Bold!
Colour is life! Life is colour! Going for a deep sea green or a luxurious red for your cabinets may give your kitchen the bit of ‘oomph’ it needs to bring it back to its former glory. Choosing a bold colour may help to inspire you when you enter the kitchen, plus as opposed to the subdued cream tone of many modern kitchens, deeper, richer colours hold out better against stains and wear and tear when there are children in the house!
Stay with One theme!
Although bright colours are great to have, try not to overwhelm your kitchen’s new design with several different colours and patterns, as these can often clash and will make your kitchen look awkward and untidy. Stay with one overall colour or ‘theme’ (for example, yellow and blue for a relaxed beach theme) to avoid shoe-horning your kitchen into making it look smaller than it actually is.
