At Price Kitchens we are always looking for new ideas when it comes to making things easier in the kitchen. Of course cooking your own meals is always a joy; the idea that you can make something from scratch and enjoy it with others or put your own individual twist on it is always a great motivator when trying out new recipes.
When it comes to oil and grease this particular ingredient can be pretty messy, so here are a few tips to help you when dealing with oil and grease!
Chilli and Oil
If you’re cooking with chillies, rub a teensy bit of olive oil into your hands as it stops the skin from burning.
In order to save sponges, use one sponge for your oily and greasy pans and use another sponge for everything else. It prevents any other dishes from getting greasy and your ‘everything else’ sponge lasts far longer than it normally would!
If you happen to spill oil or grease onto the hob, the counter, the floor, any surface, simply sprinkle some baking soda over the affected area and then use a dry cloth to rub it in. Wait a few minutes then wipe it away with a damp cloth. Voila! Clean!
